“I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created, I tell you that. I’ll bring back our jobs from China, from Japan, from Mexico and from so many places. I’ll bring back our money. … Sadly, the American dream is dead. But if I get elected president, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before, and we will make America great again.” — Donald Trump, June 16, 2015
A trending tag on Facebook at the moment is indeed Donald Trump, and most of them are hate posts, of course. People are complaining that he is not qualified to run this country and electing him as president would result in America’s bankruptcy.
While most people focus on the negatives of having Trump as our President, I believe 100 percent that he may actually bring some needed change to our country.
Adults reading my article probably are wondering, “Why does she care so much for this? She is not 18 yet, which means she cannot vote.”
Well, I cannot go without putting my opinion out there to influence who will run our government. Yes, the time will come when I will step into a voting booth, but unfortunately that is not this year.
Donald Trump is caught up with society. He believes in America’s exceptionalism. Trump is committed to giving everyone an education no matter what age, race, or sexuality. Not to mention, he is known for his demands for high performances. Trump is not the man who will screw things up, but he will improve issues until they meet perfection.
Just like China did, Trump wishes to build a great, great wall between the United States and Mexico. The even better part is that he plans on Mexico paying for the wall. He also told Americans that he “…will immediately terminate President Obama’s illegal executive order on immigration.”
Although Obama ensures America that the terrorist dilemma is being handled, nobody will be harsher on terrorist groups like ISIS than Donald Trump. He told Barbara Walters in an interview that he is “the worst thing that’s ever happened to ISIS.”
Trump has probably been the most confident, self-assured, powerful personality Presidential candidate yet. Most politicians are swayed by lobbyists and special interests, but he tends to be his own special interest, and I sincerely doubt that he will give that power away to anyone else.
Donald has gone through bankruptcy several times. The fact that he has been able to rise back to the top after each bankruptcy is equally important. Any one of the GOP candidates will make mistakes elected president, so why not have an individual who has shown America that he will and can fix them.
His slogan reads, “Make America Great Again!” In other words, Trump will most likely be loyal to Americans and only Americans. Repeatedly highlighting his acuity for success and his capability for getting things done, Trump shows true qualities this country is in need of.
Although he may say uncalled for things at times, he is a great negotiator. He is able to navigate complex deals in order to get people to do what he wants and work with him to achieve his goal.
Unlike most politicians, Trump is not politically correct. He can voice his opinion and say what others are afraid to say. Why not have a President that is actually going to say what’s wrong with this country than have a President that does not accept the fact our country is failing?
So yes, I am #teamtrump.
